 Infrared thermography (IR) as a predictive/preventative maintenance  (PPM) inspection technique is a widely recognized and effective  non-destructive testing tool often used to check electrical and  mechanical systems, buildings, roofs and facilities.  Infrared can also  be used to improve manufacturing processes and is utilized in R&D  applications.

Infrared thermography can not only provide you with  cost savings from preventing potentially hazardous and expensive  repairs, it can also be a cost saving measure from an insurance  standpoint.  Having an annual IR scan performed and providing your  insurance company with a comprehensive report may help reduce costly  insurance premiums.
